Project Life and Stampin’ Up! Goodies

Image
In case you were not aware Stampin’ Up! has partnered with Becky Higgins and now has their own Project Line in our new catalog that comes out on June 1st. You are able to get a select few items now and here were some of the things I had gotten. I haven’t had a chance to play with my new things but since this is the way I scrapbook now I am looking forward to seeing how it comes all together.  I took advantage of the free shipping we had last week and ended up placing 2 orders after I saw someone’s video about the Project Life stamps. I haven’t stamped my Project Life  with stamps but the stamps we now have for it looked so cool I had to try it out. Our retired list came out last week also. I took advantage of it and bought some things I enjoyed like the Victorian Crochet Ribbon. The retired items are as supplies last. If you are in need of a new catalog when it comes out and you don’t have a demo please let me know and I will be glad to send you one. I hope to be sharin...

Flower Fest (Retired)

I have been really bad about posting on my blog. When I have a few minutes in my day I tend to post things on my facebook or Instagram. Anyways, I am participating in a Monthly card exchange. For the month of April we were suppose to use butterflies and this was my take on it. I used mostly retired product. But this goes to show you can still make beautiful things with what you have in your stash. The only thing that wasn't Stampin' Up related were the jewels I used to bling the cards up with. What have you created lately? Are you taking advantage of National Scrapbooking Day today?

The Letters

Here is the blurb of the story: Rose Schrock is a plain woman with a simple plan. Determined to find a way to support her family and pay off her late husband's debts, she sets to work to convert the basement of her Amish farmhouse into an inn. While her family, especially her cranky mother-in-law, is unhappy with Rose's big idea, her friend and neighbor, Galen King, supports the decision and he helps with the conversion. As Rose finalizes preparations for visitors, she prays. She asks God to bless each guest who stays at the Inn at Eagle Hill. As the first guest arrives and settles in, Rose is surprised to discover that her entire family is the one who receives the blessings, in the most unexpected ways. And she's even more surprised when that guest decides to play matchmaker for Galen King. With her signature plot twists combined with gentle Amish romance, bestselling author Suzanne Woods Fisher invites readers back to Stoney Ridge for fresh stories of simple pleasures ...

Autumn Cottage and It's Your Day!

Hello Everyone! How are you today? I hope you are having a fabulous start to your weekend. I wanted to share a couple of projects I have done since I last shared.  I am starting to get back into other things I have enjoyed in the past like cross stitching. I will admit once I had gotten more involved in paper crafting I wasn't picking up my needle and thread as much. We are putting in a new floor where I keep my paper crafting supplies so things are in a disarray. And the kind of crafter I am I like to spread things out. So as a result I have been avoiding doing anything paper related. When I am with my scrappin' ladies I usually work on Project Life. But I still wanted to do something creative. Especially if I was going to watch tv.  So last night I picked up a long forgotten project and began working on it. It was so relaxing. I hope to be able to continue doing that long term as I have quite the stash. This was a Lizzie Kate design that came out in 2003. (Told yo...

I Followed My Heart and Found You

Just a quick share. A couple weekends ago I had a paper crafting weekend with my scrappin’ ladies. I made these cards for a friend who puts a marriage retreat together with her husband over Valentine weekend. I used the cards that go away on the 27th and the Follow My Heart stamp set that also goes away on the 27th. (w) 134611 or © 134614 What are you doing for Valentine’s? Thanks for stopping by!
