The other day it was my brother in law’s birthday. In being a cardmarker of course I had to make him a card. So this is what I came up with. I thought I did a pretty good job in it. I used mostly retired product. The dsp is Sycamore Street from Salebration this year. So if you have any left in your stash you could always make a mat for your card. The stamp is also from Salebration and is the Feeling Sentimental set. The ink is Midnight Muse. ( 126860 $5.95) I inked the embossing folder Honeycomb ( 129378 $7.95) I picked the telephone box in particular as my brother in law is a Doctor Who fan. Its not quite the Tardis but it’s close enough. Thanks for looking and have a creative day!

One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up! is how everything matches. I made a couple of thank you cards last night for a couple of friends I am having lunch with today. They had placed an order during Salebration. My upline Patty Bennett had told us how she likes to give thank you cards to her customers and I have tried to follow that thought. Who doesn’t love getting a homemade card anyways? As I earlier stated I love how everything matches with Stampin’ Up! I used the Sycamore Street dsp and the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button pack. The cardstock used was Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand. I used the Thanks a Ton! stamp from Patterned Occasions. I love that elephant! So cute! I used Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party for the ink. The cool thing about it all? I got these items for free thanks to Saleabration. Which ends March 22nd. And my friends get cute cards! Bonus!

Today is my daughter’s birthday. She is 15 years old. Pretty soon she will be driving and going to college. These years really fly. Anyways, here is a simple birthday card I made for her. I used the Patterned Occasions stamp set that you can get from Salebration which ends March 22nd. Enjoy!

I finally was able to create last night after being sick. I was in denial that  I had a cold or something but my energy level and body reminded me I needed to slow down so last week was spent watching tv or just browsing the internet for inspiration. I worked on these two cards tonight. I wanted to do the Whole Latte Love in different colors and try to make it more masculine. I am not sure if I have succeeded. I also have had the Tea Shoppe set for some time and just haven’t used it tonight. Here are the recipes! My daughter asked me to make a couple of birthday cards for her for a couple of friends who will be having birthdays soon.
