Valentine Treats and Cards



I went to a local crop yesterday. While I was there I finally finished the treat pillows that was part of the January Paper Pumpkin. I was able to make 24 and I had extra die cuts that I can turn into cards if I wanted too. So I might be ahead for next year's Valentine time. I also made 2 cards for my husband. Valentine's Day is also my anniversary and we will be celebrating 18 years. Wow! I wanted to make 2 seperate cards to acknowledge our anniversary and Valentine's Day. I made these cards with product from our Occasion catalog. If you need one and not working with a demonstrator please let me know and I will be happy to send you one!   I am trying to challenge myself. So I have decided to participate in the card/color challenges you would see around the web. One blog I found that had a color challenge was this.   Lately,I have been on a kick to participate in challenges. I am finding that I am enjoying the color challenges the best. This is the card that I made for Pals Paper Arts . This challenge closes tomorrow Sept 9th at 9:00 am PST. If your wanting to join you still have time! The colors they called for was Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Crumb Cake. I am really enjoying playing with my For All Things stamp set and Color me Autumn.  You can find those in the Holiday Catalog. Gingham Garden Box

I meet once a month with a group of ladies to scrapbook. We work on our own projects or someone will teach us something. Last night we were taught how to make boxes. After I made the box that they provided I decided to do my own version with Stampin’ Up! supplies. This would be a fun box to put a gift in or to keep some cards in. The material I used was Gingham Garden DSP ( 129310 $10.95) Midnight Muse Stampin’ Write Marker. (You can get a pack of the 2012-2014 pack of In Colors for $14.95 126856) and the new In Color 2013-2015 Card Stock. Working with paper and what you can do with it is endless!
