Last Saturday I had a group of ladies over to work on the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit. I went ahead and got the bundle which came with the Merry Little Christmas Stamp Set. Here’s the bundle number W-131826 C 131829. I thought I’d share the samples I made to showcase what you can do with this kit. In the first picture the one without the sweater trim is the basic card you can make with the kit. I added my own special touch by adding the sweater trim from last year’s holiday kit as well as a retired stamp set in the 2nd picture. It was a lot of fun to make these cards and a chance to be with those that like to create. Christmas is 2 months away. Are you ready? Thanks for stopping by!

  I am trying to challenge myself. So I have decided to participate in the card/color challenges you would see around the web. One blog I found that had a color challenge was this. I used the Four Feather Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog as well as the framelits that you can get in a bundle.   Lately,I have been on a kick to participate in challenges. I am finding that I am enjoying the color challenges the best. This is the card that I made for Pals Paper Arts . This challenge closes tomorrow Sept 9th at 9:00 am PST. If your wanting to join you still have time! The colors they called for was Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Crumb Cake. I am really enjoying playing with my For All Things stamp set and Color me Autumn.  You can find those in the Holiday Catalog. Gingham Garden Box

I meet once a month with a group of ladies to scrapbook. We work on our own projects or someone will teach us something. Last night we were taught how to make boxes. After I made the box that they provided I decided to do my own version with Stampin’ Up! supplies. This would be a fun box to put a gift in or to keep some cards in. The material I used was Gingham Garden DSP ( 129310 $10.95) Midnight Muse Stampin’ Write Marker. (You can get a pack of the 2012-2014 pack of In Colors for $14.95 126856) and the new In Color 2013-2015 Card Stock. Working with paper and what you can do with it is endless!
