Hello Everyone! How are you today? I hope you are having a fabulous start to your weekend. I wanted to share a couple of projects I have done since I last shared.  I am starting to get back into other things I have enjoyed in the past like cross stitching. I will admit once I had gotten more involved in paper crafting I wasn't picking up my needle and thread as much. We are putting in a new floor where I keep my paper crafting supplies so things are in a disarray. And the kind of crafter I am I like to spread things out. So as a result I have been avoiding doing anything paper related. When I am with my scrappin' ladies I usually work on Project Life. But I still wanted to do something creative. Especially if I was going to watch tv.  So last night I picked up a long forgotten project and began working on it. It was so relaxing.   Just a quick share. A couple weekends ago I had a paper crafting weekend with my scrappin’ ladies. I made these cards for a friend who puts a marriage retreat together with her husband over Valentine weekend.   I have head of art journaling but never tried my hand in it. I joined swap bot recently and one of the groups they have on there is called Art Journaling 101 where you can get inspiration and learn what art journaling is all about. So this was my take on the first challenge given. I used a quote that I really liked and it happens to be posted in my school/craft room. The quote says ‘Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you imagined.’ (Henry David Thoreau)  I used supplies I had on hand. But some of the product used is Stampin’ Up! related such as the boutique buttons, marker and the paper I used to make the flowers. Have you ever art journaled? Do you enjoy it?
