Nacho Average Challenge #106

Nacho Average Challenge #106

I decided to join this challenge this week. NAC #106 Like I have said earlier I really like color challenges. So its no surprise that I joined this one. The colors we were to use was Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Crisp Cantaloupe. I used Daffodil Delight in the cardstock. The Coastal Cabana in the dsp and the ink, the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I colored the dsp with Crisp Cantaloupe. Have you joined any challenges lately? What are your favorite ones?

CCC #12

ccc #12

I am  still on my challenge kick. So this is my entry for CCC #12. The colors we were suppose to use was Marina Mist, Soft Suede and Old Olive. I love this Christmas set as the song Silent Night reminds me of my Mom. I believe this set is retired. I also used retired dsp but the cardstock is Old Olive. I would have been creating and sharing earlier in the week but I had to have a emergency root canal. Yuck! So it took me a couple days to recover as I did a lot of sleeping and vegging in front of the tv. I hope you join this challenge. It is a lot of fun!

ppa 218

Lately,I have been on a kick to participate in challenges. I am finding that I am enjoying the color challenges the best. This is the card that I made for Pals Paper Arts. This challenge closes tomorrow Sept 9th at 9:00 am PST. If your wanting to join you still have time! The colors they called for was Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Crumb Cake. I am really enjoying playing with my For All Things stamp set and Color me Autumn.  You can find those in the Holiday Catalog. If you are in need of one please let me know and I will be happy to send you one.  I liked the double stamp look. I think that is what it is called even though it was two different stamps and not the same one. If you’d like to try your hand in making this here’s the supply list. Thanks for looking and have a great day! Till next time!

CC494

Ornament Keepsake SCSCC#494

Splitcoast Stampers does a color challenge every Tuesday. I love to read blogs and one of the blogs I read Hearts Hugs and Flowers posted about their challenge this week. So I decided to participate. You were to use the three colors it called for. Wild Wasabi, Basic Gray and Melon Mamba. You had a choice to make a summer card or a Christmas card with these non traditional colors. I chose to do the latter. Most of the things I used to make this card are retired.  But I am sure someone will appreciate this card come Christmas time. Have you started making your cards for the Holidays?

Blended bloom and Hello Honey

I am trying to challenge myself. So I have decided to participate in the card/color challenges you would see around the web. One blog I found that had a color challenge was this. Stylin' Stampin Inspiration You can find more info if you follow the link. The color scheme they had was Rich Razzleberry, Hello Honey and Calypso Coral. This is what I came up with. I used the Four Feather Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog as well as the framelits that you can get in a bundle. I also used Blended Bloom and colored it with Calypso Coral Blendabilities.  In the picture of the 2 cards I had done that card for Creative Challenge Club. What do you do to challenge yourself or think out of the box?

Hello Fall! CCC#11

Hello Fall Single

ccc #11

It is not quite fall yet but I couldn’t resist playing with some of the new product I had gotten recently from the holiday catalog  and to participate in Creative Challenge Clubs CCC#11. This week was a 3 color scheme and the challenge was to add a 4th color in. The colors I was challenged with was Pumpkin Pie, Island Indigo and Crushed Curry. I had to get creative with my Crushed Curry since I really didn’t have that color. A good thing that the dsp Color me Autumn came to my rescue. The 4th color I added was Mossy Meadow which I colored the top of my acorns with a Stampin’ Up! marker in that color. Please feel free to join in the challenge. The more the merrier. Also if 15 people participate you get a chance to be involved in a small shopping spree with Stampin’ Up! products. So are you ready for fall? What are you looking forward to the most?

Here is a list of some of the items I used

  • Color Me Autumn DSP 135820
  • For All Things 135155
  • Island Indigo Ink 126986
  • Island Indigo Cardstock 122923
  • Pumpkin Pie 126945
  • Mossy Meadow 133654
