Image
I attempted to cut and paste so that I could share this with you and I couldn't get it to copy over. Hopefully you can read the information off the picture I uploaded here. I also wanted you to know this is something I am offering to my customers and is not coming from Stampin' Up! Thank you for your business in advance and a Happy New Year to you and yours!

Sneak Peek, Weekly Deals and Poinsettia

Image
This post is a little picture heavy as I have a few things to share. The first two pictures are of things you can get in our upcoming Occasions Catalog. It will go live in January. If you are in need of one I’d be happy to help you out. Then in the 3rd picture is the weekly deals that are good from now till next Tuesday. And the last two pictures are the poinsettia's I made when I couldn’t sleep. I made the poinsettia’s with the Punch Builder Festive Flower. Here are some pointers in how to make the poinsettia’s. I think I may make mine into card’s I haven’t decided yet. Punch 8 Large Petals 4 Smaller Petals 2 Double Petals (the ones that look like a bikini top) and for the base I punched out circles. Any size circle should be fine. I also used the Encore Gold Ink to give it a little bit of a flair but there is a product coming in the new catalog that would be great for that effect also called Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and it comes in clear and go

Pretty Envelope to go with Christmas Card

Image
Remember yesterday’s card share? Well I wanted to share what the envelope looked like that I made for it. The size of the card was 41/2 by 6. I love our punch board because I can make envelopes of all sizes. The cards I tend to make don’t necessarily  fit a standard size envelope. Down below you will find a list of supplies I used to make this. Thank you for coming by and have a creative day! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Dove of Peace Samples

Image
As promised here are the samples I made with Dove of Peace.  My upline Patty Bennett was so gracious to give me her Dove of Peace stamp set once she was done with it. Her only ‘requirement’ was to make 3 samples to share. I shared with our group and thought I would share here to. I made a card using our Winter Wonderland Washi Tape and Vellum. I then made an ornament which I punched out and colored with our markers. My last sample was a card front which I colored and used retired stickers. Down below you will find a list of the products that you can still get. I also want to remind you if you really like this stamp set please act now as this was on the holiday retiring list. Have you made anything Christmas related yet? As always you can shop here Online Store Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Down below you will find a list of things that I thought would be suitable for that. What about you? Have you used Stampin’ Up! when your planning? The products I chose were from both our annual catalog as well as our holiday catalog.  I also wanted to mention that I personally think that all our ribbons would be a good fit. Color Combos and Card Shares

Image
I just wanted to  share with you a couple of things that have kept me busy. My up line Patty Bennett had our group come up with color combos that featured the in colors that are new this year. She wrote a post about it and showcased the colors that were given. You can see her post in the link that says Patty Bennett. The first picture was my take on the color combos.  I stamped the different colors with the Butterfly Basics stamp set. With it being graduation season, well now the tail end of it I made cards with new product and old a like. I also made a card for someone I know who has cancer and anchors is a special symbol to her.  You can also see down below some of the products that I used. What have you done lately? Sprinkles of Life

Image
I don’t have this yet. But I wanted to showcase one stamp set in particular. Every year Stampin’ Up! makes a stamp for Ronald McDonald Charities. This year they will donate $3 to the charity for every stamp sold. I remember when I was a kid and my sister was working in Fresno as a pharmacist the hospital she was working at was associated with RMHC. I loved that there was a program like that. You can find more info about RMHC in the inside back cover of our new catalog. But let me share the blurb anyway. Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) keeps families together and surrounded by love when their children are receiving medical treatment far from home. Help Stampin’ Up! support more families through RMHC and the Ronald McDonald House program. The above picture are samples of what you can find in our catalog that showcases this particular stamp. I can’t wait to get mine! Are you planning on getting one? If so what will you create? Thanks for stopping by!

I just wanted to do a quick share of the samples I made for our Luv2Stamp group meeting we had today. The last few months we have had our meetings online and I personally love it. I used the packet that Patty (my upline) gave us to use. You may also notice that my watermark looks different. I used Picmonkey that is a free photo editor to play with the watermark. If you are interested in any of the supplies I used you can find the list below. I also wanted to remind you that the end of the month is only 10 days away and that is when SAB (FREE!) items go away until next year. Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with papercraft wise. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Remember when I posted last week this picture? Well today my up line Patty wrote a post about the samples we did in her meeting. I wanted to share her post so that you can see my other team members examples as well as mine. We used the Butterfly Basics and Artisan Kit to make our samples. The link I am sharing is Part 2 if you want to see Part 1 you can do so here. Part 1 Thanks for looking!

February Meeting Samples

Image
I just wanted to do a quick share today. As I shared previously I am part of Patty's down line.  Our group is called Luv2Stamp. We have been doing our meetings online lately. These were the projects we worked on. I love it! So pretty! You can get these items to make them through our Occasions catalog. We made 2 cards and a gift box out of the box that the embellishments came out of. I already have in mind who I will be giving the 2 cards too. I am thinking of placing another order soon so I can pick up more of the Artisan Embellishment Kit.  Thanks for stopping by! I hope these samples have inspired you to play with items you might have gotten in the Occasions catalog! Down below you will find a list of supplies to make these projects. If I can be of any help to you on these projects or anything Stampin’ Up! related please let me know. I will be happy to help and thank you! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Valentines and January Meeting Projects

Image
I had some time last night to work on Valentine cards. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!  I also wanted to share the projects I made in January. I am part of Patty Bennett ’s down line. We have changed our meetings where most of the meetings will be held online. The third picture shows what we made. The last picture is a card I made for the meeting as a virtual share. It was my take on a card they showed in the new Occasions catalog.  Between the two Valentines I made last night I like the Be Mine card the best. I love that with Stampin’ Up! products they all come together. Did you make Valentine cards this year? Are you part of a Stampin’ Up! team? I would love for you to be in mine. In need of a catalog? Please feel free to drop me a line here Melinda Hoover . Down below you will see a list of the products I used to make these products. Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day! Lotus Blossom

Image
I just wanted to do a quick share. I was able to make these cards with the Lotus Blossom stamp set. You can get this stamp set for FREE until the end of March when you place a $50 order. This stamp only comes in photopolymer. This kind of material for stamps is fast becoming a favorite for me. I love how it sticks to my block. Certain colors will stain your stamp but it will not prevent you from making a perfect image with a different color. When you are using a photopolymer stamp I’d recommend having padding under your stamp surface such as our piercing mat. (126199) I believe this is my favorite stamp ever. I am having so much fun with it.  I stamped my flowers in the different pinks and purples we have. The stems in the greens we have. Thanks for stopping by! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
