Thanksgiving Cards

Image
I have a love and hate relationship with blogging. Hence the absence on here. But then it dawned on me that it would be a good place to come and reflect on the projects I have done in the past or if I want to reshare something. I am more active in my other social media platforms. You can find me on Instagram as Melscreativecreations    My Facebook business page Mel's Creative Creations I am also on Snapchat as Koreanone2001 But that’s not why your here today! I have to share my creative space with my son and we are homeschoolers. I finally was able to play with some new items I got from the holiday catalog and this is what I came up with. I used the Paisley and Posies Stamp Set as well as the paper and framelit. I got the idea from Pinterest but I don’t know who to give credit to as there was no name.  I also used the Petals and Paisleys Cardstock pack and used Delightful Dijon and Very Vanilla as my base. The Rich Razzleberry flower was cut with the Paisley Framelits dies. I al

For You and Holiday Catalog

Image
I just wanted to do a couple quick shares today.  The first picture you see is a card I made in a online card class if you will from Rona Wade . She has a club thing that is called Creative Corner. If you would like to try it out you can for the first month for $5.00. Of course I put on my own spin as I didn’t have all the supplies listed and used some retired product and left a couple things out entirely.  This showcased the Thoughtful Branches bundle that ends on August 31, 2016. If you would like your own you can do so here. Online Store The second picture shows the cover of our new Holiday Catalog that goes live on September 1, 2016. I will do a Facebook Live sometime that day showing you the inside of the catalog. If you would like to watch that you can do so here. MelsCreativeCreations If you are in need of a Holiday Catalog please let me know. I would love to help you out. What are you doing to be creative today? I would love to hear about it!

Graduation Cards

Image
It’s that time of year for graduations and the like. My daughter and her boyfriend graduated from high school this year. We had a joint party for them this past Saturday. I wanted to make cards so I could give a gift card and a note in it. This is what I came up with. I usually get my inspiration from Pinterest. If you would like to follow me there you can do so here Melinda's Pinterest I used product that carried over to the new catalog and retired product. The only thing that I used that wasn’t Stampin’ Up! was the white gel pen I used to color the purple numbers. If you are in need of a catalog you can email me. My address is above my blog page if you came to my site to read this post.  Down below you will see a small list of some of the items I used to make these items.  If you would like to place an order with me you can do so here Online Store Thank you for coming by it means a lot to me!

Birthday Blooms

Image
Once a month I meet with a group of ladies for a craft night. Most of us work on card or scrapbook pages. I have been trying to use up my things instead of hoarding them. I recently got the Birthday Blooms stamp set as well as the Birthday Boquet dsp. This is what I came up with and thought I’d share with you. I got my inspiration from the Occasions catalog that will be retiring on May 31st. I originally thought that this set will retire to. But I was pleased to see that the stamp set was in the new catalog.  If you are interested in getting these products you can do so here Online Store   Down below I will have a list of the supplies used. I can’t seem to put the color combo where I originally wanted to. You will find the colors next to the picture of ink pads that I used.  If you are in need of the new catalog that goes live on June 1st please let me know. I will be glad to help you out. Thank you for stopping by!

Going Global

Image
Yesterday was my son’s 15th birthday. I wanted to make him a masculine card and I felt that the Going Global stamp set was the perfect choice! This is in the Occasion catalog which means this will retire in the end of May.  I got  my inspiration for the card by looking at Pinterest . These pictures were also shared on Snapchat. You can find me there as Koreanone2001. On there I share about my everyday life and want I am working on Stampin’ Up! wise.  If you would like to order any of these products you can do so here Online Store . I also wanted to remind you to check out the retired list. There are at least 50 items that have sold out. If you are interested in getting a new catalog message me and I’d love to send you one! Down below is the list of items I used to make this project and the color scheme I was going for. Thanks for stopping by!

That Thing You Did and A Nice Cuppa

Image
May is a busy month for me when it comes to birthdays. Recently my 2 sisters had birthdays and I wanted to make cards for them. I also wanted to use items on the retiring list from Stampin’ Up! This is what I came up with. I used the stamp sets That Thing You Did and  A Nice Cuppa. I used the main catalog as inspiration for my yellow birthday card. The other card was of my own creation. They were simple cards and only took a few minutes to do. I believe my  sisters will like them though. These items should be in my Online Store until May 31st or until supplies last. Down below you will see the list of supplies I used to make these cards. Thank you for coming by!

Blended Bloom and Envelopes

Image
As you know it’s that time of year where Stampin’ Up! is retiring items to make room for the new catalog coming out in June. My hope is to be able to showcase items that are retiring such as the stamp Blended Bloom. The top 2 pictures show the stamp colored with our wink of stella pens in clear and gold  and then with our Stampin’ Up! markers. I also made a couple of envelopes out of free dsp I got during SAB. You may be wondering why I have writing or a time stamp on my pictures. I am on Snapchat and have repurpsed these pictures. If you are on Snapchat and would like to join me there you can find me as Koreanone2001. I have been trying to keep my social media as Melscreativecreations but Snapchat has your username the first part of your email or something like that and you can’t change it. Down below you will find better pics of supplies used. It does not nessicarly reflect sale price if any. If you are ready to order Blended Bloom before it’s gone you can do so here Online Sto

On The Retired List-Perfect Peacock

Image
As you know Stampin’ Up!’s retired list came out last week. Items have already been sold out. I wanted to showcase this stamp called Perfect Peacock. I made this card for a customer and she had picked this stamp to get. I wanted to make this card so she has a reference to look to when she makes her own cards or what not with this stamp. I colored the peacock with our Stampin’ Up! markers.  Our markers now are sold in sets and you won’t be able to get them seperatly. Have you taken advantage of the retired list? What did you get? Thanks for stopping by!

Rose Wonder and Weekly Deals

Image
I have been wanting to play with the Rose Wonder Stamp Set and Thinlits that you can find in the Occasion Catalog. I finally got the chance to do it and this was the result. When I first cut out the rose with the red foil sheet I did it wrong. Hence the picture saying better as that was the correct way in doing it. You do need a big shot to cut out your rose. I do not know if you can use a thinlit in a cuttlebug. I love how delicate the main rose looks and I can see myself using this a lot. I mostly played with the thinlet only using the Happy Birthday stamp to make my card. I didn’t have any watercolor paper but I still wanted the look. I used the gold wink of stella and I think it still gave it that effect. Down below you will see the list of products I used to make the card.  I also wanted to share this week’s deals too. As I have said before the items you see below for the deals do not nessicarly reflect the sale price. I also wanted to remind you that you are days away fro
