Scrapbooking with old and new Products

Image
I know I have talked about the Twinkle Twinkle suite with you recently but I wanted to show the versatility that this suite has. I have been in the process of making a baby album. One of the things that I love about Stampin' Up! is how easy they make things to accomplish such things as that. I originally was going to make a pocket page scrapbook and was going to use a Memories and More baby kit that has now retired. As you can see in the pictures above I did end up using those products but I was also able to make the pages fresh by using the Little Twinkle stamp set, punch, Gray Granite and Petal Pink ink. The papers I used was Pool Party cardstock and the Twinkle Twinkle designer series paper. I am hoping the recipient enjoys what I have put together. Do you use Stampin' Up! products in your scrapbooking? If you see anything you can like you can find the new items here  Online Store

Twinkle Twinkle

If you are a Facebook follower you may have seen me unbox this suite. I wanted to take a few minutes and share with you all the cards I made using this suite. I love how cute these cards came out. I used the annual catalog for inspiration. I also liked that because I got everything in the suite it all matched and was easy to make these cards as a result. The one item I really liked was the twinkle adhesive backed sequins. I can easily see myself getting more to use in future projects. I am also trying to use up my designer series paper more instead of hoarding it. I think its safe to say that yes that paper got used! So now I am ready for any future babies to be that may come in my life or a just because card as I have some on hand. Do you have a favorite suite from the annual catalog? What is it? If you like what you see you can get items here  Online Store

Coffee Cafe

Image
I know that doesn't look like coffee does it? Instead it looks like lemonade which is perfect with summer here. I wanted to show the versatility of the Coffee Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cups dies. I got this inspiration from this year's annual catalog. I did use a couple of retired items such as the sequins and the glitter paper. But I also used new such as Lovely Lipstick in the cardstock and ink. Pineapple Punch is what I used to make my lemonade.  I will say that I love that the sequins have adhesive in the back. I believe that is the future of our sequins now and I think that is so much better then trying to glue each one individually. I did use Whisper White for my background and did draw the grid lines myself. But we have many options if you don't want to draw lines we have stamps and even thread that can do that for you. If you like what you see and would like to place an order you can do so here  Online Store  Also down below you will find the list in picture form

Hold Onto Hope

Image
We first saw the stamp set Hold Onto Hope in the most recent Occasions catalog. I am just now playing with the set and dies. I am glad I did because I feel as a result I made a couple pretty cards. I looked to the Occasions catalog for inspiration with the supplies I had on hand. I did get a little frustrated with  my Coastal Cabana card because at first it wasn't going the way I wanted to. I made a couple changes and I was much happier with it. I often forget how pretty a card is when you use the same color paper and ink. Like I did in the Calypso Coral card. I had a lot of fun with the 1st  card as I used a stamping block to ink up my paper and make my background paper. Don't be shy in using glitter paper to die cut your crosses. I think it makes for a elegant effect. I also wanted to remind you that this stamp set in particular was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Brandy Cox. As always you will find these items here  Online Store  as well as a supply list

Birthday Blooms

Image
I do realize that all the items save for the ink and cardstock is retired. But I wanted to share anyways. Besides that there is the possibility that the stamp set may still be available but its not guaranteed. I made this for a dear friend who's birthday was today and I didn't want to spoil it for her by sharing it earlier. Perhaps my card and envelope will be an inspiration to you in case you have these things in your own personal stash.

Stamp Stash

Image
My stash is 7 years old. Its as old as I have been a demonstrator and my 7 year anniversary is next month in July. I wanted a visual of what stamps I had that I could use right now as I have to wait till this Friday to place a new catalog order. So the first picture is the stamp sets I have that are recent or what I wanted to keep. The 2nd picture is my retired stash. It definitely was a eye opening experience. I haven't decided what I'll keep for personal use or what I will sell. But if there is anything you are looking for in particular feel free to ask. I may very well have it and may be willing to sell it! Down below you'll see pictures of my recent stamps that carried over and their price which you can get here.  Online Store  Thank you for coming by! Have a creative day.
