Ears to You-Blue

Image
Happy Easter! Whether you believe in the Easter Bunny or in our Savior hope you have a blessed weekend in whatever way you decide to celebrate it! I decided to use the Ears to You stamp again and make this card in blue. I did away with the sentiment and used the Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment of Happy Easter instead. I also used the color coach to help me come up with my colors. Here is the recipe if you are interested! Print Poetry DSP (Spring Catalog) $6.95 129312 Cardstock Midnight Muse $6.95 126843 and Gumball Green $6.95 126840 Labels Collection Framelits $26.95 125598 Ink for Gumball Green and Midnight Muse  I used the Stampin’ Write Markers from the In Color 2012-2014 set $14.95 126856 Marina Mist $3.50 119679 Teeny Tiny Wishes $36.95 115370-wood $26.95 127802-Clear Color Coach $14.95 English 120148 2012-2014 In Color Cards $2.50 English 126890 Thanks for looking!

Ears to You!

Image
The other day I decided I ought to create something that is Easter themed with the holiday coming up this coming Sunday. Sometimes it feels like time really just flys! I decided to use the single stamp Ears to You(132659 $6.95) and the Print Poetry DSP (129312 $6.95) from the Spring Catalog. The way these rabbits inked it wasn’t like I visualized. But I like the effect. The cardstock I used was Summer Starfruit. (126839 $6.95) Ink used was Summer Starfruit,(126991 $5.95) Primrose Petals (126858 $5.95) and Raspberry Ripple. (126859 $5.95)The ribbon is satin stitched in Primrose Petals. (126844 $8.95) The bunnies were cut with the Labels Collection Framelits (125598 $26.95) Just a reminder just because Saleabration has ended there are still promotions and the like going on. For example, these last single stamps will be gone on Sunday March 31st. Thanks for looking and hope you find time in your day to create!

Paper Pumpkin Month 1

Image
I got my kit yesterday and this is what came with it. If you are careful in unwrapping the kit you can save the pool party tissue to make flowers with. Inside the kit is enough material to make 4 cards. You’d have to supply your own adhesive. In this particular kit you get a stamp block d. 2 clear stamps that say Hey There Friend and the other reminds me of splotch paint. They also give you a ink spot of basic grey, and sticky accents the yellow and green you see in front of the package.  And what you see highlighted in the cards I made. It’s not to late you can still join here. https://mypaperpumpkin.com/en/ I played around with the kit last night and it didn’t take long at all. They do give you an idea for how to make the first card and that is what the upright card shows. The 2nd one I wanted to do something a little different. Oh and the kit comes with envelopes. So they are ready to be mailed off when you are ready for them to!

Happy St Parick’s Day

Image
I couldn’t let the day go by without at least attempting to make something for the day. I have been trying to make things for holidays no matter how big or small the day is. Well that’s my goal at least. Most of the items I used were basic and retired. But just wanted to share what I made last night. The cardstock was Gumball Green and Always Artichoke. I colored the sentiment with a SU marker in the color of Tangerine Tango. The clovers were made with the stamp set from P. S. I Love You. The orange button is from SAB Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button pack. The ribbon is the sweater trim ribbon from the holiday catalog of 2012, in Gumball Green. Hope this little sample brings some inspiration your way!

How Not to Dress Stupid - Stampin' Up!

Thanks a Ton!

Image
One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up! is how everything matches. I made a couple of thank you cards last night for a couple of friends I am having lunch with today. They had placed an order during Salebration. My upline Patty Bennett had told us how she likes to give thank you cards to her customers and I have tried to follow that thought. Who doesn’t love getting a homemade card anyways? As I earlier stated I love how everything matches with Stampin’ Up! I used the Sycamore Street dsp and the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button pack. The cardstock used was Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand. I used the Thanks a Ton! stamp from Patterned Occasions. I love that elephant! So cute! I used Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party for the ink. The cool thing about it all? I got these items for free thanks to Saleabration. Which ends March 22nd. And my friends get cute cards! Bonus!

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Image
Today is my daughter’s birthday. She is 15 years old. Pretty soon she will be driving and going to college. These years really fly. Anyways, here is a simple birthday card I made for her. I used the Patterned Occasions stamp set that you can get from Salebration which ends March 22nd. Enjoy!

Mask Revisited

Image
My daughter has her home school prom next month. The theme is Masquerade. I am on the prom committee and I was trying to figure out what I could do to contribute. So I made this. Their colors are red, black and silver  hence the color scheme here. At first we talked about letting this be the ticket holder but I think trying to make 50 or 60 holders might be a bit overwhelming. So this will become part of the table setting and I need to make 12. I haven’t decided if they will all look the same as it depends on what kind of items I have in my stash. Anyways, here is a list of items I used to make my project.  1’ Circle Punch 119868 $12.95 Print Poetry DSP ( Spring Catalog) 129312 $6.95 Pearl Basic Jewels 119247 $4.95 Vine Street Embossing Folder (Hurry! This goes away after March 22 FREE with a $50 order) 130492 Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon 1/8 119261 $5.95 Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon 1/8 119960 $5.95 Red Buttons (Retired) Thank you for looking!

Fun Mask

Image
Last night I sat down to get creative. I have been toying with the idea of making a mask. My daughter has a homeschool prom next month and their theme is Masquerade.  I don’t know if I had thought of this as a card or a table decoration or if this will even show up at the ball. Netherless it was fun to make and pretty simple. I downloaded a template off the web and printed it on cardstock. Than I proceeded to punch out the dsp with the 1’ circle punch. The dsp was from the Spring Catalog. Print Poetry 129312 $6.95 and the circle punch can be found in the main catalog. 1’ Circle Punch 119868 $12.95

As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image! Some things to remember: All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95. While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month (with a new theme each month), all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014. A new flyer will be released every month for each new Best of set. All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only. While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month, all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014. As a special incentive to collect the Best of stamps, we're including a collector's card

Photopolymer Stamps!

Image
We've searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.  What makes them so great? They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!  They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.  Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks. They
