Hello Cupcake

Image
I have been talking to you guys about the recent craft retreat I went on. While I was there I got to work with a Saleabration Stamp Set called Hello Cupcake. I have some birthdays coming up and this stamp set was a life saver as well as cute! I challenged myself as I had limited supplies with me and had to use what I had. Netherless, it was still fun to create. Remember if you have a $50 dollar order and place it by the end of March you can get this set free! A lot of our items have been so popular they are no longer available. But last I checked we still had this. We do have a die that goes with the cupcake for sale. I don't remember the name off hand but you will find that information down below. I also wanted to remind you that the 2017-19 in colors will be retiring soon. The coloring of the cupcakes were done with those colors.

February's Paper Pumpkin Kit

Image
I know it's only been 2 months into the new year but this is my favorite Paper Pumpkin Kit this year. I do have a thing for succulents and this kit in particular made me very happy. I didn't change up the directions that the kit gives you when you receive one. The only thing that I changed was I didn't use the bakers twine that came with the kit as making bows stresses me out. Lol. I also wanted to remind you if you are not a subscriber yet and become one by March 10th in your March kit you will receive a free stamp set to celebrate their 6th birthday. If you'd like to subscribe you can do so here.  Paper Pumpkin  when they ask who your demonstrator is I would love it if you would put me down Melinda Hoover. Thank You so much!

Crafting Retreat

Image
I went to a crafting retreat that a fellow demonstrator put on this past weekend. I thought I would take a few minutes and share with you all the projects that we made. We learned all about water coloring and the different techniques behind all of that. We spritzed and used our aqua painter. I personally like using the aqua painter best because I felt like I had more control of my project that way. Most of the product we used can be found in our occasions catalog or it was a free item from Saleabration. What I thought was nice that near the end of the night this demonstrator gave us all a free stamp set of our choosing that was on our table. The stamps that we were able to choose were from the projects we worked on earlier in the day. I chose the tea pot set and that is the stamp set I used in the tea pot card you see previously. We also heat embossed with a watercolor background.

Valentine Cards and Envelopes

Image
Remember the card buffett I went too? The first 2 pictures are of the cards I made from the material I got there. I also was in need of envelopes of the cards I made for my husband. We will be celebrating 18 years of marriage on Thursday. I made 2 cards to celebrate our anniversary and Valentine's. I love the dsp it is so pretty. I will have to be creative and see what else I can do with the paper once Valentine's is over.

Valentine Treats and Cards

Image
I went to a local crop yesterday. While I was there I finally finished the treat pillows that was part of the January Paper Pumpkin. I was able to make 24 and I had extra die cuts that I can turn into cards if I wanted too. So I might be ahead for next year's Valentine time. I also made 2 cards for my husband. Valentine's Day is also my anniversary and we will be celebrating 18 years. Wow! I wanted to make 2 seperate cards to acknowledge our anniversary and Valentine's Day. I made these cards with product from our Occasion catalog. If you need one and not working with a demonstrator please let me know and I will be happy to send you one! Do you do anything special for Valentine's or do we share the same anniversary? Let me know!

Stamp A Stack Cards

Image
A couple of weeks ago I went to a fellow demonstrator event. She had put on a Stamp a Stack Card event. I had the chance to make 6 cards but I couldn't decide what my last 2 cards would be so these are the 4 that I made while there. But I did end up taking home a couple cards that used the items from January's Paper Pumpkin kit. All of the material to make these cards are found in our Occasions and SAB catalogs. If you are in need of one and are not working with a demonstrator please let me know and I will be happy to send you one if you are not local.
