Strength and Hope

One of the many reasons that I love stampin' up! is the charity they do. this stamp set is retired but is called strength and hope. stampin up gave $2 back to breast cancer research for every stamp sold. My mom didn't die from that but from pancreatic cancer. cancer is cancer and I thought making this card was apporiate because I will be doing relay for life on august 11th.
the colors used was concord crush, tangerine tango, and daffodil delight i used the color coach to put the colors together and the new piercing tool for the outlining of the scallop circle.

  I am trying to challenge myself. So I have decided to participate in the card/color challenges you would see around the web. One blog I found that had a color challenge was this. I used the Four Feather Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog as well as the framelits that you can get in a bundle. I also used Blended Bloom and colored it with Calypso Coral Blendabilities.  In the picture of the 2 cards I had done that card for Creative Challenge Club .   Lately,I have been on a kick to participate in challenges. I am finding that I am enjoying the color challenges the best. This is the card that I made for Pals Paper Arts . This challenge closes tomorrow Sept 9th at 9:00 am PST. If your wanting to join you still have time! The colors they called for was Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Crumb Cake.
