Holiday Sneak Peeks!

Image
This past weekend I got to have a paper craft weekend with some of the ladies that I meet with once a month. So as a result I decided to play with the preview items I got from the Holiday Catalog that will go live on August 1st. I made a Halloween album with new dsp  called Witches Brew (132185) $10.95 I also used Witches Brew Washi Tape (132156) $4.95. I made the album out of the cardboard we get when we order designer paper in general.  I than punched a hole with my crocodile and used Halloween color ribbons. A gentle reminder that our buy 3 get 1 Free Designer Series Paper will end on Wednesday July 31, 2013. The 2nd thing I worked on was Christmas cards using the new Winter Frost dsp I used the 12x12 stack. (132341) $12.95 My embellishment is the new Frosted Finishes (132150) $6.95. I have seen my upline Patty Bennett make a necklace out of the Frosted Finishes and I saw a picture of someone making earrings out of them. So there’s lots of possibilities when ...

MDS Hybird Cards

Image
A while ago my up line put on a MDS  Hybird Card class. I wasn’t able to attend in person so I got the package the next time I had stopped at her house. I never got around to putting the cards together until recently when I had some friends over for some crafting time. Aren’t these cards great? The card fronts were made with MDS but the card stock and the elements were the hybird part of the creating. The one thing that I love about MDS is that even when a stamp retires in the main catalog it doesn’t ever do that in MDS. The same goes for color.  If you’d like to try your hand with MDS go here My Digital Studio I just wanted to share what I had done on my Saturday. Did you do anything creative with your weekend?

Thinking of You

Image
The other day I shared how I won some product from my upline. I also said I would share what I had created as a result of having new goodies to play with. This is what I have so far. I want to still play with the Wildflower Meadow stamp set. These were all stamped with Kind & Cozy and Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper was used. I got these ideas from the new Stampin’ Up! catalog. It was a lot of fun to make. I blinged them with candy dots, pearls and rhinestones. All the colors used were the In Colors from last year and this year. Thanks for stopping by!
