A Different Take on Project Life

The other day I had to make a few thank you cards for some of my customers. I was going to see them that night and had run out of time in making a more elaborate card. I remembered in the past that my upline Patty Bennett had shared what she had done with Project Life cards that Stampin’ Up! now sells. So here’s my take on making a thank you card and using Project Life elements. Have you ever designed something out of the box? Please share. I used a mix of retired and new product.   I am trying to challenge myself. So I have decided to participate in the card/color challenges you would see around the web. One blog I found that had a color challenge was this. Stylin' Stampin Inspiration You can find more info if you follow the link. The color scheme they had was Rich Razzleberry, Hello Honey and Calypso Coral. This is what I came up with. I used the Four Feather Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog as well as the framelits that you can get in a bundle. I also used Blended Bloom and colored it with Calypso Coral Blendabilities.  In the picture of the 2 cards I had done that card for Creative Challenge Club .   Lately,I have been on a kick to participate in challenges. I am finding that I am enjoying the color challenges the best. This is the card that I made for Pals Paper Arts . This challenge closes tomorrow Sept 9th at 9:00 am PST. If your wanting to join you still have time! The colors they called for was Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Crumb Cake. I am really enjoying playing with my For All Things stamp set and Color me Autumn.  You can find those in the Holiday Catalog.
