Petal Promenade

Image
When we first got the annual catalog in May this suite caught my eye immediately. I loved how pretty the paper was and feminine. Its  the perfect paper for wedding cards and the like. I also love how realistic the dsp is. One thing that I like about the Beautiful Layers thinlets is how there is a die that when you use your big shot it comes out like a doily. I got the opportunity to play with this the other night and it cemented to me how much I love these products in general. I got my card ideas from our annual catalog on page 106 if your looking for inspiration to. If any of these products have caught your eye you can go here  Online Store  Remember in just a few days Bonus Days will be over. This is where you get $5 credit for every $50 spent. Have a creative day!

Sneak Peek Country Lane

Image
One of the advantages of being a demonstrator is being able to order things early such as items from the holiday catalog that will go live on September 5th. Today I wanted to show you all the samples I made from the Country Lane suite. I can't show you the inside of the holiday catalog but I can show you samples made. I loved this suite in general but my favorite is the tin tile embossing folder. I love that we do 3d folders now.  The tin tile is the imprint on the galvanized metallic paper. That is another item found in the holiday catalog. I also tried my hand with the basic black and blackberry bliss stampin' blends. Other items used were the Country Lane Designer Series Paper and the Chicken Wire Elements. Of course can't forget the Country Home stamp set. Another reason why I liked this suite so much is that it reminds me of fall but its perfect to use for Thanksgiving. Whether your American or Canadian I think this will meet your Thanksgiving needs. Beautiful Promenade and other Goodies

Image
If you have been following me for some time either here on my blog or on other social media you know that I belong to a group called Luv 2 Stamp. My upline is   Patty Bennett  and she often challenges us with different ideas so that we think outside of the box or use our products. I got all of the items above because I participated in the rainbow spectrum ink pad challenge she issued. I wanted to take a moment and share with you all the goodies I received over the weekend as a result. I am really excited about getting this as I have been eyeing this stamp set for some time. I had already gotten the dsp so this helps me get the suite in general. In my last order I did pick up the cardstock pack that went with this.  You can find the suite Petal Promenade in our annual catalog on pages 106-107. Besides getting the Beautiful Promenade bundle, thread and rhinestones I was also given pearls and brads. Down below I will share a "shopping list" in case you'd like to have ...

Image
I wanted to share the samples that Stampin' Up! has about Color Your Season which is a limited time products thing. It will only be offered this month (August) or while supplies last. I like that there are water color pencils and thinlets with these products. If you'd like to do see what else is offered you can do so here.  Online Store

Garden Impressions and Daisy Delight

Image
I have been wanting to show case the designer series paper I had gotten during the buy 3 get 1 sale we had last month. I can't believe it's already August! Anyways, I digress. The paper I used to make these cards was Garden Impressions which is a 6x6 pack of paper. I didn't have the stamp set that is a part of this collection but did have Daisy Delight which is where the sentiments came from. The ink that I used was So Saffron and Night of Navy. The thing that I love about this paper is that each design is handpainted. It did remind me of working with different kind of paintings as I was choosing what designs to use to make my 2 cards. This is the perfect paper to work with when your wanting to do something summery or even for something springy. You can find both the paper and the stamp set Daisy Delight in the annual catalog.
