Heartfelt Sympathy



We all have to make them or buy them  one time or another. I am talking about the sympathy card. I thought the stamp set Heartfelt Sympathy would be the perfect set to show my sympathy for a sad occasion. I don't remember the colors of the cardstock I used and the trees are from a set previously retired. I really do like the font this stamp set had. even though its retiring I see myself keeping this in my personal stash. You can find it here Online Store But remember its gone after May 31st.

  I am trying to challenge myself. So I have decided to participate in the card/color challenges you would see around the web. One blog I found that had a color challenge was this. Stylin' Stampin Inspiration You can find more info if you follow the link. The color scheme they had was Rich Razzleberry, Hello Honey and Calypso Coral. This is what I came up with. I used the Four Feather Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog as well as the framelits that you can get in a bundle. I also used Blended Bloom and colored it with Calypso Coral Blendabilities.  In the picture of the 2 cards I had done that card for Creative Challenge Club .   Lately,I have been on a kick to participate in challenges. I am finding that I am enjoying the color challenges the best. This is the card that I made for Pals Paper Arts . This challenge closes tomorrow Sept 9th at 9:00 am PST. If your wanting to join you still have time! The colors they called for was Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Crumb Cake.
