Sharing Scrapbook Layouts *Picture Heavy*

Creative MessSave the Tata's Last night I had the chance to do some scrapbooking. This is big for me as I have had a hard time picking up scrapbooking in a steady pace since my mother passed away in 2011.

Stampin’ Up! is known as a stamping company. But I am a scrapbooker at heart. I wanted to show that it is still possible to make scrapbook layouts with a company such as this. Some of the products I used in these layouts are a mix of current product and retired. Here are some of the things I used.

  • Gumball Green Card Stock
  • Print Poetry DSP
  • Feel Goods Stamp Set
  • Floral District DSP
  • Primerose Petals
  • Sent With Love DSP
  • Flirtatious DSP
  • Concord Crush Ink

I wanted to encourage you if you have never tried scrapbooking before to give it a try. I think its very important to record family history. Whether it is in a Project Life style. Traditional or Digital. I believe getting your stories told is important in keeping your family history.

The layouts I worked on was from last summer. It was about our church picnic, playing horseshoe and being involved in the Relay For Life in honor of our Mom.

I hope that seeing these layouts have inspired you to get your history down and a chance to get creative. Thanks for stopping by! Breast Cancer WalkPlaying HorseshoeThrowing Horseshoe

  1. I've tried scrapbooking before and it didn't turn out. I got bored for one thing (never did enjoy doing crafts) and I wasn't artisitic enough. I've tried a few times both in actual books and digital ones. But I do think it's important to preserve family history too and do so in other ways and I sure love looking at other people's beautiful scrapbooks! Great job on yours!!!!
